Phoenix is a 21 year old APHA registered Paint Horse. He is about 15.1 hh and has a unique palomino tobiano color. He is owned by Paige Mechan and used in our programs.

Phoenix is a goofy gelding with an amusing personality. He craves attention, from both human and horse friends alike. He enjoys trail rides, games, and beach rides (his favorite!). Despite his age, Phoenix still looks (and acts…) like a 5 year old!

Phoenix joined Paige and her family about 14 years ago. At the time, he matched Cheryl’s palomino paint mare, Cheyanne! Phoenix and Paige have tried a little bit of everything together, and she is happy to share him with our students.

Phoenix is a lot of fun to ride! He prefers to be quick and forward, but has breaks when you need them! He is both responsive and sensitive to his rider. Phoenix is somewhat herd bound, and always rides with a horse friend. Sometimes he seems to gait a little, and is generally quite comfortable. He is quirky, but can be uncomplicated and fun for the right rider!

Phoenix is available for group riding lessons, possible leasing, and off property opportunities.
